However, no "bis" carved in the stone, I thought. But I didn't look quite well, see next picture.

In 2011 I will learn from Charles Darrieu that the "bis" is engraved on both sides just above the second 2 in small characters.

This is digital zoom-in of my picture above, you can see that the 'bis'-engraving has largely weathered away.
