Bm086
Originally there was only a cross engraved. The cross has disappeared and is replaced by this borderstone (information of Charles Darrieu).

Bm087
Searched in vain on 20090410
and 20090412
and 20090504
and 20100506
Perhaps - I thought - hidden under one of the various stone-piles along the road.
But found on 20110815 this painted cross & number
(more pictures on that page). |

And that was apparently the preparation of the reinstallment of bm087 with a brand new marker.
In june 2012 I received this picture of Javier Ruiz Martínez, a bm-explorer by heart (see the literature-page).
It was installed at may 31th 2012 according to the information which Jacques Koleck got from one Patrick Sudres.
It makes us curious: who is responsible for this reinstallment and is there hope as well for other bordermarkers in trouble.

In march 2014 I have been informed by Robert
Darrieumerlou that this picture originates from his website (this
page). The photographer was one "Xan".

Bm089
The original bm is lying flat on the hillside. But there are two other - mysterious - markers in the vicinity:
- a cross engraved in a rock
- an unnumbered marker
|
| Bm089
Bm089 was searched in vain on
20090504 and 20100506
but found on
20110815

This cross - 50m SE uphill - with a number believed to be 89 (the number 8 however faded away) was
found on 20100506
and revisited on
20110815

Move the cursor over the picture to see where bm090 is.
The rectangular
'cadre' and the position of the cross within is typical for the
official bordercrosses around here, like bm088. It seems that this cross was meant as (a replacement of) bm089.

| In the vicinity - 250m NEE - this mysterious marker was found on
20100506
(more pictures at that page)
However: it has no number and is definitively off the borderline.
