On the rock besides the bm, we find old engravings. The rock is a centuries-old bordermarker.
The engravings are mentioned in the Procès-Verbal: this is the "Fleur de Lys", the lily-flower
And this is the "barres d'Aragon", the circles of Aragon.
But there is more. According to Robert Darrieumerlou there is also a cross visible on top of the rock. He is surprised that it was not seen before by anyone.

He shows it on this webpage and the next pages.

Jaques Koleck added this information in 2013: "At 94 meters north of bm358 I found a small red cross painted on a large vertical rock that lies below the last lacelet of the track that leads to Col de Barèges. This cross looks NW."

A digital zoom-in.
Bm359?

This marker - supposed to be bm359 - has its own story and doubts.

It deserves a special page: the next one
