Between bm037 and 038 - at 250 meters from bm037, there is another unnumbered intermediate bordermarker.
(according to Jacques Koleck)

But not seen at that time: a cross at the foot of bm040.

Photo provided by Charles Darriau

And another one at some distance of bm040.

Photo also provided by Charles Darrieu.

Further on - in the direction of bm041 - there are two more unnumbered (and unmentionned in the treaties) crosses.

I spotted them in januaray 2013 on the TopoPirineos-map and their existence was confirmed by Charles Darrieu. And he sent me these pictures.
Moreover they are mentionned in Martínex Ruiz's article (see literature-list)

This one is ± 25m SSW of bm040.

And this is the second, at ± 45m SSW from the former one (or ± 70m SSW from bm040)

And there's even a third one - discovered by Jacques Koleck in 2013.

Though there are no inscriptions nor a cross, it's on the straight borderline between bm40-41-42 and apparently installed - according to Jacques -as a bordermarker. It's broken in half.

On two flat stones besides bm042, there are crosses engraved. A discovery of Jacques Koleck.

In the background we see a nearly flat stone which contains a cross

and this is a close-up of the cross on the flat stone next to bm042

At the other end of this tarmac surface - where besides the tree a trail goes uphill - the submarkers bm044a to bm044l start.

They were placed in 1988 to give a more precise delimitation. The reason is unknown.

The treaty involved can be found in this pdf-document

In between and on ground level there were once 3 unnumberd marker-plates with an E and F. They were placed  together with bm044a - bm044l.
According to Charles and Josette Darrieu the third one has been covered by the tarmac.  I didn't look  for them, didn't know of their existence. Besides: they lack a alpha-numerical sequence label.
Robert Darrieumerlou shows them on this  page and the next

And I'm happy to show the pictures of Charles & Josette Darrieu. On this picture the first one.
And here in more detail.

The third one is reported by Charles Darrieu as  being covered by the tarmac at 32,9 meters from the previous one.

That's more or less under the middle car.
