Serge Poncet did an amazing discovery in november 2015. The number still exists. That is to say: the remnants of it. |
 Serge brushed away the loose grit and stone around the cross and he
found an engraved 8! |

Bm510, not found on the Coll de Nou Creus Searched on 20050713 and 20100709 Neither found by Alain Laridon and Charles & Josette Darrieu. Charles & Josette informed me in january 2011 that a new engraving is scheduled according to "M. Joan Capdevila Subirana, Delegado Permanente de Amojonamiento en Girona". They are awaiting a date. |

And that date was in autumn 2013, probably in october. Jean-Paul Laborie – member of the Pyrenean bordercommittee and responsible for the Central Pyrenees – informed me on 21 october 2013 of the replacement and sent me this picture. His two colleague-members for the eastern Pyrenees – Joan Capdevila Subirana from Girona and his French counterpart Christian Lajarrige – where the ones who took charge of the actual replacement. |
